Position: Quality Inspector

Salary: £44000 to £47000

Location: Silverstone

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

We are now seeking a Quality Inspector to work for a niche automotive company providing bespoke solutions to prestige motorsport companies. Based in Silverstone the appropriate Quality Inspector will be working in a growing business providing creative solutions to their clients’ challenges in additive manufacturing, lightweight structures, digital fabrications and many more.

Responsibilities of Quality Inspector:

Interpreting technical drawings

Strong use of hand and bench top inspection equipment

Have experience with 3D scanning and probing (Creaform) to undertake complex and

routing inspection operations

Experience in Motorsport, niche vehicle or low production

Useful to have experience working with carbon composites, but not essential

Experience with engineering business function procedures and ability to implement

as business and project requirement develops

Champion responsibility for quality of parts prior to vehicle build, and pre delivery to

customer via defined Quality Tier system

Establish and develop close working relationship with Quality Engineers and build

functions to achieve quality and time constraints

Admin non-conformance and support Quality Engineers with root cause investigations

Recording detailed data via ERP and build/component documentation

Problem solver/have strong lateral thinking skills

Able to demonstrate a commitment to quality and meeting customer requirements

Tenacious in meeting deadlines

Practical as well as creative and prepared to be hands on

Able to demonstrate precision and attention to detail including good record-keeping

Able to work effectively under time pressure

Flexible

Able to work within business health and safety requirements
