A prominent organisation in the Aerospace industry is currently seeking an immediately available Purchasing Project Manager to join their team in Pitstone on a 12 month contract.
This is a critical role in Pitstone, that requires Aerospace industry experience and strong leadership to drive cost-reduction initiatives and manage Transfers of Work (TOW).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of Transfers of Work (TOW), focusing on the transition of manufacturing processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier partnerships.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise costs, negotiating the best terms and prices with suppliers.
Oversee purchasing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the company's objectives.
Ensure all activities meet aerospace regulations and internal quality standards.
Proactively identify procurement risks and develop effective mitigation strategies, keeping senior management informed.
Assist the NPI team with new program developments.Qualifications & Experience:
PMP certification
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum)
Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with MS Project and SQL is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.Why You Should Apply?
