Job Description


Workshop Manager


Selection of associated activities include:


- Supervision and coordination of the prototyping & racing workshop team


- Process and lead daily workshop team meetings


- Enforce and optimize general working guidelines in workshop


- Receive instructions from and report to Technical Director and Team Principal


- Apply and generate guidelines to optimize workshop operation


- Implement new processes and improve existing ones in order to optimize efficiency and quality of carried out work


- Plan and coordinate small series production subsystem and car build up processes (e.g. customer motorsport) in close cooperation with supply chain, engineering, and management team


- Supervise project processes in order to comply with planned milestones and project completion timelines


- Supervision of process related documentation maintenance (build sheets, EoL tests, QC, project based job records,…)


- Manage and supervise workshop equipment and facility, forward tasks to facility manager and lead technicians


 


Profile


- Extensive relevant multi-year experience in motorsport or automotive workshop as manager or in a leading position


- Excellent team leading skills


- Passion for motorsport, high performance vehicles and powertrain systems


- Interested in and positive towards future technologies such as EV, Hydrogen combustion & fuel cell,….


- Basic technical understanding of entire vehicle systems and subsystems. Ideally with EV system and handling knowledge


- Responsible and very well organised working approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills


- Excellent MS Office knowledge (particularly: word, excel)


- Target oriented approach, ability to work entirely self-organised


- Flexible in working hours if required (weekends, holidays, late hours), as typical in motorsport


- Above average commitment and team work ability, as typical in motorsport


- Willingness to take responsibility and leading role in the company


- Excellent English skills (verbal & read/write) required

Terms of Employment


- Long-termfull time permanent employment based in Austria, Vienna


-Initial temporary “Fly-in” option(Company owned modern Apartments available at head office location) possible
