Contract Type: Full-time, onsite

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)

Pay Rate: £24.66/hour (PAYE) | £33.00/hour (Umbrella)

✈️ About the Role

Join Airbus at RAF Brize Norton and become a key player in maintaining the propulsion systems of the A400M fleet. As a Propulsion Workshop Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of a dynamic aircraft maintenance environment, ensuring engines, propellers, and related components are ready to meet mission-critical demands.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, understands propulsion terminology, and brings strong technical insight to the table. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing propulsion activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

Coordinating all propulsion bay activities, including engines and propellers Ensuring availability, serviceability, and compliance of propulsion assets Diagnosing defects, managing component changes, and overseeing test procedures Maintaining accurate digital records and reporting to stakeholders Supporting technicians and leading from the front in high-pressure situations Engaging in planning briefs, performance reviews, and drumbeat meetings

🎯 What We're Looking For

Solid experience in propulsion systems (engines, propellers, components) Strong technical knowledge and a practical, problem-solving mindset Confident communicator with leadership skills Organised, safety-focused, and reliable under pressure Comfortable using digital tools for maintenance tracking and reporting British National (due to security clearance requirements)
