JOB TITLE - Project Manager

LOCATION- Plymouth

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client designs and manufacturers products and systems in the Aerospace sector. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Plymouth on a permanent basis.  

The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in Engineering (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) or be QBE from working in a similar technical role
Previous experience working in Project Management and also R&D
Experience with NPI would be beneficial 
Be able carry out technical design and read engineering drawings
Proficient in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
Proven success motivating others and successfully managing teams
Have previous experience working within a similar manufacturing environment
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Be flexible to travel as required 

The Project Manager role will involve:

Project Managing the full lifecycle development of new equipment – from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
Leading a team to ensure the success of various projects
Taking things from concept to launch
Helping to develop existing products too
Liaising with customers as required keeping them up to date with project progress
Maintaining technical documentation as required
Offering technical support
Sourcing and selecting components that are required
