Your New Role

Do you have excellent organistional skills?Are you conscientious, flexible, able to multi-task?If so, we have the role for you.We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Design and Technical team at our RFD Beaufort Division based in Ellesmere Port.

This team is responsible for creating everything from the initial concept to the final design of our products. They develop ideas for new products and prototypes and integrate innovative functional solutions with world-class creativity to support Survitec’s vision to become the most trusted provider of safety services.

As Project Coordinator you will provide project coordination, financial tracking and reporting, invoicing in support of engineering projects, be focused on the co-ordination of project processes, activities and budgets in support of design engineering and new product development. You will compile, produce and control technical support materials including product and programme data packs.

What You Can Expect from the Role

·Organises and prepares complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Adobe. Responsible for gathering and summarising data for special reports

·Assigns short-term work schedules to workload to achieve expectations of a range of stakeholders and internal customers

·Creates, manages and utilises effectively a local document management system for an office or department

·Drafts and maintains technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, ensuring appropriate and effective use of language and on-time delivery. Creates appropriate backup files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur

·Produces standard project plans; tracks and reports progress to plan; provides stakeholders with accurate and relevant information to support decision making at agreed project review points, including new product development stage gate reviews and post project reviews to identify lessons learned

·Carries out delegated activities to support identification and evaluation of risks, issues, dependencies and constraints associated with each project. Ensures mitigating solutions are reflected within project plans and the impact of those solutions is reported accurately

·Manages procurement and system orders; accurately transfers bill of materials requirements to relevant systems

·Compiles accurate and timely financial information to support engineering project tracking and review processes; tracks and reports on capex spend, ensuring any overspend is identified quickly and reported appropriately

·Provides general administration support to the Engineering leadership team; manages diaries, including booking, tracking and reporting on travel spend

·Develops own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gains or maintains external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfil personal potential. Maintains an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education and reading specialist media
