As aProject Planner, you'll be instrumental in developing, managing, and maintaining robust project schedules that drive the successful delivery of complex programmes. Based inBristol, you'll work closely with our clients in theDefence, Aerospace, or Energysectors. No travel outside the region is required.

We're specifically looking for individuals with strongPrimavera P6experience and a background in planning within one or more of these highly regulated, high-stakes industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule Development:Create and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
  • Progress Monitoring:Track progress, highlight variances, and support mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, project managers, and programme leads.
  • Reporting & Analysis:Deliver insightful reports and dashboards to inform decision-making and highlight risks or opportunities.
  • Tool & System Optimisation:Promote best practices in planning tools, especially in Primavera P6, and support continuous improvement of planning processes.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We're open to a range of backgrounds, but the ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner in theDefence, Aerospace, or Energysector.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6is essential.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset with a high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with integrating cost and risk data into schedule planning is beneficial.
  • Certifications such as APM PMQ/PPQ, PRINCE2, or PMP are advantageous.
  • We actively support your development through APM qualifications and industry-recognised training.
