Exeter | £15.17 per hour, plus OT| 2-Shift Rotation | Monday to Friday Long-Term Production Role

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting Production Operatives to join the Finishing Department at Howmet Aerospace in Exeter - a world-leading manufacturer of precision-engineered metal parts for the aerospace, defence, and transportation industries.

This is a fantastic opportunity to begin or grow your career in production and manufacturing, working as part of an experienced and supportive production team in the final stage of the process - the finishing department - where quality and attention to detail are key.

Production Operative Roles in the Finishing Department

General Finishing Production Operatives

Carry out production tasks using sandblasters, grit blasters, deburring tools, and polishing equipment
Prepare and finish aerospace components to exact specifications before shipment
Perfect for candidates with a mechanical, hands-on, or DIY background
(Vehicle Mechanics NVQ Level 1/2 also a great fit)Grain Finishing Operatives (Chemical Production Process)

Perform a chemical dip production process to remove surface layers from components
Work in a controlled production environment using protective equipment
Full training is provided - ideal for those wanting to grow in a technical manufacturing role

Shift Pattern & Working Hours - Production Operative Jobs

2-Shift Rotation (Finishing Department):
Morning Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Note: Grain roles may involve a 3-shift production pattern, including nights

Pay Rate & Production Benefits

£15.17 per hour
Overtime available at enhanced production rates
