Acorn by Synergie is hiring for Howmet Aerospace in Exeter - a global leader in aerospace manufacturing. We have full-time Operative roles available in both the Wax and Core Departments, working a rotating shift pattern between mornings and afternoons. Please note, all candidates must pass a medical assessment as part of the recruitment process.

What's the Job?

You'll be part of a skilled team making crucial aerospace parts. Whether you're shaping wax moulds, working on core production, or running injection machinery, these roles are ideal if you like working with your hands and want to develop valuable skills.

Available Roles:

Wax Operative

Great for anyone who enjoys detailed, hands-on work
Experience with sewing, crafting, model-making, or electronics is a bonus
Use tools, knives, and Bunsen burners to create and perfect wax mouldsCore Department Operative

Assist in the production of cores used in casting aerospace components
Operate machinery and follow precise production processes
Mechanical or manufacturing background is helpful but not essentialWax Injection Operator

Operate wax injection equipment, change die patterns, and perform basic quality checksShift Details:

You'll rotate between these shifts:

Morning Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pmWhy Join?
