Product Engineer (Aerospace) - Tewkesbury - Permanent

The Opportunity:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering client for a Product Engineer / Senior Product Engineer to join their aerospace facility in Tewkesbury. This is a hands-on, technically varied role supporting the full product lifecycle - from assembly and test to new product introduction and process development.

This role is ideal for engineers with strong practical and analytical skills who thrive in highly regulated, technically demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

*Oversee and support the assembly and testing of aerospace components and systems
*Define and improve assembly and test procedures
*Lead activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI), including PFMEA and risk assessments
*Troubleshoot technical issues and provide day-to-day engineering support to production
*Identify and manage obsolescence challenges
*Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and operations
*Prepare and maintain technical documentation including control charts and process guides

Essential Skills:

*Experience in aerospace or similarly regulated engineering sectors
*Strong understanding of NPI, assembly processes, and fault investigation
*Familiarity with tools such as Mathcad, Minitab, or similar
*Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and perform basic analysis
*Comfortable supporting both hands-on and documentation aspects of engineering

Desirable Skills:

*Knowledge of servo valves, hydraulic systems, or flight control components
*Exposure to automation in an engineering context
