Are you a time Procurement and Commercial Manager from an Aerospace or Defence background looking to join a market leading company in an autonomous role reporting directly to the CEO.

This role will involve overseeing three different sites. Two of which, located in Harlow and Stansted, are precision manufacturing facilities that supply into a range of military and commercial OEM's. The third organisation is a MRO facility based in Southend-on-Sea performing the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aviation components used on Private Jets for some of the companies wider customers.

This role will see the suitable candidate report directly to the CEO and CFO, leading all procurement and commercial business over three key sites around Essex. The right candidate will lead contract negotiations, oversee contracts and maintain policies, procedures and governance to manage commercial risk.

The Role:

Act as a key commercial and procurement representative for all matters relating to contracts including issues, negotiations, reviews, customer T&C's, NDA's and LTA's.
Develop working relationships with customers and suppliers and establish appropriate review meetings. Monitor the appropriate commercial performance of each customer account.
Provide commercial insights, drive profitable growth and support the delivery of the organisation's long-term goals. Support reviews of existing price structure and competitors pricing to identify opportunities for improved profitability.
Oversee bid package compliance paperwork and the gathering of information from the relevant departments to ensure customer templates are completed accurately.
Manage the Estimating and Procurement departments to ensure materials and subcon pricing is accurate and prompt.
Ensure the development, implementation and management of efficient and effective commercial and procurement procedures. Produce KPI's to monitor performance and help identify improvements.
Ensure company compliance with applicable customer and supplier contractual requirements and regulations is fulfilled correctly.
Support company sales initiatives by ensuring all customers understand the services available and by project managing the introduction of new services.
Monitor the day-to-day commercial performance of each customer account, including management of additional works over and above the contract limit of liability to ensure no commercial leakage.The Person:
