The Role:

Ebeni is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to enhance our Systems Engineering capability. This role involves shaping, leading and delivering complex projects across multiple domains, including:

  • Bid Support,
  • Technical Leadership, Stakeholder Management and Workshop Facilitation
  • Requirements Engineering following a Model-driven approach,
  • Architectural Development at the Enterprise and Systems levels,
  • Authoring Technical Specifications including design documentation and interface definition,
  • Definition and management of evidence-based Compliance Arguments,
  • Act as an advocate of Systems Engineering best practice, including development and provision of training, and mentoring.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical focus on client projects, writing complex technical documents.
  • Explain and solve technical problems, providing advice to clients and partners.
  • Build positive client relationships and negotiate scope changes.
  • Oversee the production of Systems Engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Support Project Management activities, ensuring efficient project accounting.
  • Support Bid Management activities, ensuring timely provision of the technical matter required.
  • Provide technical leadership, monitor progress, and identify solutions to issues.


Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Systems Engineering techniques and approaches, in particular Requirements Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in the use of Architectural Frameworks and Modelling Techniques such as the NATO Architecture Framework (NAF), The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Unified Modelling Language (UML) and Systems Modelling Language (SysML).
  • Experience in the use of requirements and architectural modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect (EA), MooD, DOORS and Paradigm.
  • Ability to persuade and influence technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical lead and authority, introducing new techniques and methodologies.
  • Analytical and creative thinker with strong decision-making skills.
  • Present convincing technical arguments to large external groups.
  • Apply experience from previous projects to new technologies or business areas.
