Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual looking to join a world-leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry? This company is seeking an exceptional Assembly Operative - Pressure Testing to play a crucial role in their state-of-the-art production facility.

About the Role

As an Assembly Operative - Pressure Testing, you will be responsible for a variety of processes, including the assembly and inspection of cables, pipes, high-pressure hoses, and gun components. Your primary tasks will involve:

Running programmes to test high-pressure hoses to the required technical and quality standards
Setting up programmes for new components in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards
Conducting injection moulding tasks, such as mould tool set-up, barrel configuration, material selection, and machine operation
Performing inspections to ensure the highest quality standards are met, and issuing the appropriate certificates and stamps

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for the Assembly Operative - Pressure Testing role will possess the following skills and experience:

Broad experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
A background in manufacturing or engineering, with a good understanding of health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required
Familiarity with SAP software
Desirable: Mechanical apprenticeship or similar technical training
