Pressure Test Technician

Location: Uxbridge
Earning Potential: £15–£16 per hour + Overtime (£21–£23 per hour) + Yearly Bonus (~£1,000)

Your Role in High-Pressure Testing. As an Assembly Operative – High-Pressure Testing Specialist, you’ll take on a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and performance of critical aerospace components.

Your responsibilities will include:

Pressure Testing Expertise: Learn or demonstrate proficiency in running high-pressure tests on hoses and components up to 10,000 PSI, ensuring they meet stringent quality and safety standards.
Destructive Testing: Conduct tests to destruction, gathering valuable data to improve product designs and performance.
Precision Setup: Use engineering drawings and detailed specifications to set up testing programmes accurately and efficiently.
Quality Inspections: Verify that all components meet exacting standards through meticulous inspections and adherence to technical guidelines.
Certification and Documentation: Issue detailed certificates and maintain thorough records for quality assurance.

Experience in Pressure Testing: Familiarity with high-pressure equipment is highly desirable, but training will be provided to learn testing up to 10,000 PSI.
Engineering Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Practical Assembly Skills: Hands-on experience with riveting, bonding, gluing, and using engineering hand tools.
Precision and Focus: An unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality results.
