Now Hiring: Time-Served Platers - Ripley

My client based in Ripley, Derbyshire are seeking experienced Platers to join our Fabrication Team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working in our purpose-built fabrication shop, you'll be involved in producing bespoke fabrications for industries such as nuclear, sub-sea, aerospace, MOD, and process engineering.

The Role:
Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
Marking out, cutting, and preparing materials for fabrication
Producing weld preps, drilling, and tack welding into complete assemblies
Working independently and using your own initiative
Occasional work at customer sites when required
Ensuring high-quality standards across a range of materials and thicknesses

What We're Looking For:
Time-served Plater/Fabricator with a minimum of 3 years' experience (preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong understanding of engineering drawings
Willingness to work overtime when required (paid at 1.5x rate)
Ability to commute to Ripley, DE5 3ND or relocate before starting

Working Hours & Pay:
Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
Pay: £16.80 - £19.00 per hour
Overtime available at 1.5x pay, including weekends
