Job Description Due to the continued growth andsuccess of the business Silverstream Technologies is seeking tofurther bolster the team with additional Performance Analystcapabilities. Company: Silverstream Technologies was founded in2010 with the aim of optimising fuel efficiency in the Maritimesector using air lubrication technology. The Silverstream System isa proven energy saving technology, delivering 5-10% net fuel andemissions savings and can be used on both retrofit and newbuildvessels. Air lubrication is a strategically important technologywhich addresses the immediate decarbonisation requirements and theoperational efficiency challenges emanating from future energytransitions. Location: London HQ, Marylebone or Chandlers Ford,Southampton Office. Reporting to: Head of Performance ThePerformance Analyst will be responsible for the prediction,validation, monitoring and improvement of ALS performance. Thisincludes planning and executing the performance team coreactivities as well as assisting with research and development inthe performance space. Experience / Qualifications Required: -Higher Degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics or equivalentsubject. - A basic knowledge of ship resistance and propulsion andhydrodynamics in general is essential. Demonstrable knowledge ofISO/ITTC standards associated with ship performance is desirable. -Experience in managing experimental research in relation to shipperformance and/or energy efficiency technologies is desirable. -Experience in conducting trials at ship, specifically in thecontext of ship performance, is desirable. - Ability to code isessential. Python knowledge is desirable. - Chartered Status as anEngineer is desirable or the individual should be able todemonstrate clear pathway to achieving said status. - Excellentwritten, verbal communication and presentational skills. - Abilityto work both as an individual contributor and in a cross-functionalteam. - Ability to implement governance and quality assurancepolicies across the domain area. - Strong interpersonal skills andis accessible and approachable.
