Our salaries are competitive and we also offer a generous holiday entitlement of 33 days inclusive of bank holidays along with a fantastic benefits package.Hyde Coatings Ltd is currently recruiting a PFD Operator based at one of our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge. As a PFD Operator you will be responsible for the processing of various aluminium aerospace components through the Penetrant Flaw Detection process. This includes solvent cleaning, pre-penetrant etch and full process and inspection. All whilst maintaining the general cleanliness and safety within the building and supporting other areas of the business when required.Duties include but are not limited to; * Solvent cleaning of aluminium components * Jigging and de-jigging of components on to a semi-automatic crane while promoting good bar utilisation * Testing of aircraft components using PFD methods * Inspection of work and sentencing of components to specification controls * Working to various customer technique sheets * Report writing- NCRs * Paperwork – Traveller cards * Use of handheld measuring equipment.Essential skills required; * Keen eye for detail. * Must be able to work within a team or as an individual.Desired Qualifications; * Any qualifications in NDT would be beneficialAdditional information; * Full training will be provided for non-qualified operators * Operator requires a yearly eye test as vision levels do need to be achieved.What we offer * Competitive salary. * Generous annual leave entitlement. * Exciting benefits package with access to discounts from leading retailers. * Purpose built sites with free parking. * Discounted gym membership. * Excellent career development opportunities available.Diversity and InclusionThe Hyde Group are committed to creating an inclusive environment where our employees can reachtheir full potential.
