The below job description will outline this position of: Electrician

Typically, this person will work on a range of installation tasks in the workshop or in the field (the field is vessels in the UK and internationally), ensuring that electrical systems are set up correctly and efficiently. Your expertise will be key in installing various electrical components, wiring, and systems, all while adhering to industry standards and regulations. You’ll work on diverse projects, from new installations to upgrades and modifications, contributing significantly to the success and reliability of our electrical systems.

HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Electrician:

Install and manage cable systems, including installation and termination.

Build panels and switchgear.

Perform fault finding, testing, and commissioning.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and general workshop duties.

Travel and stay overnight for periods as required, both in the UK and internationally.

Qualifications and requirements for the Electrician:

Completed Time-Served Apprenticeship.

City & Guilds Level 3 qualification.

A full clean driving licence is essential.

Flexibility and the ability to work autonomously.

BOSIET training will be provided for offshore work

Willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
