We are currently recruiting for skilled Paint Sprayers to join our client's team at their purpose-built facility in Foston, Derbyshire. These positions are temp to perm, and are PAYE basis only.
Operating for over 20 years, this company have become a UK leading company providing their specialist services. The company have various long term contracts that you will be working on.
Paint Sprayers key job details:

  • Monday to Friday, fixed shifts (your choice).
  • Days: 07:00 to 17:00 - £17.25 per hour
  • Nights: 17:00 to 02:00 - £17.25 per hour and a £200 per week shift allowance
  • Overtime rate: £25.88ph.
  • Weekly pay
  • PAYE only
    Paint Sprayers responsibilities:
  • Using compliant coatings, paints, materials, conventional spray equipment and systems to apply quality finishes to silos, tanks, and various commercial vehicles
  • Complete set-up, and painting by manual brush/roll paint methods, using compliant paints
  • De-greasing, washing, masking, flatting and basic filler repairs and corrosion removal as necessary
  • Preparation (using both mechanical and manual methods and equipment, orbital sanders, needle-guns and abrasive tools etc.) to exacting specifications in accordance with quality and production standards
  • Carry out your own care and maintenance of all equipment
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
    Paint Sprayer person specification:
  • Previous experience of paint spraying within the aerospace, rail, or commercial vehicle/shipping industry is essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of using prep equipment e.g. orbital sanders, needle-guns and other abrasive tools is required.
  • You must be flexible with undertaking the preparation duties as part of the role
  • You will need to have a good level of English
  • You will be open to undertake any provided training
  • You will need your own transport due to times of work and location of the facility.
    A pre-employment medical screening will be delivered, and the company has a zero-tolerance drugs and alcohol policy.
