Job Description

VHR Global Technical Recruitment is looking for a Manager of Product Assurance Engineering, to lead and mentor the quality assurance teams, for one of our clients based in Europe. 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of advanced quality planning activities, including setting up customer quality requirements and compliance matrices. Oversee the implementation of APQP tools and techniques, ensuring adherence to quality systems and processes. Mentor and support team members in applying quality and lean tools, promoting a robust quality culture. Manage production part approvals and First Article Inspections, and ensure consistent application of certification processes. Conduct problem investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

A technical or engineering degree, or equivalent experience in an engineering environment. Proven leadership skills with experience in coaching and mentoring within a manufacturing setting. In-depth knowledge of QMS management, ideally within the aerospace sector or other highly regulated industries. Strong problem-solving abilities using quality tools and techniques, with a hands-on and solution-oriented approach. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Fluency in English is essential.  Strong project management skills are a plus.
