Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire (WS7)

Rate: £31ph (Personal CIS)

Hours: Mon - Thurs (07:00-17:00) and Fridays (07:00-14:30)

Duration: Until February 2026

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for an Orbital Welder/Fitter to join our client who are an industry-leading Engineering Contractor. They have a long-term contract on-site at a Manufacturing Facility in Burntwood (WS7).

They are currently looking for an Orbital Welder/Fitter to manual Weld, set different programmes and to fit different sized pipes.

You must have experience as an Orbital Welder/Fitter (within Engineering/Manufacturing settings).

Please note - You will be required to do an initial Weld Test. This will consist of a 2” dairy tube Tig Weld and a 2” Orbital Weld (all to ASME codings).

Orbital Welder/Fitter Requirements:

· A Valid CCNSG Site Safety Card

· A PASMA or IPAF Card

· 2-3 years’ experience as an Orbital Welder (within Food & Bev, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical settings).

· You must have your own tools and overalls.
