Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit an Operations Manager for our prestigious Aerospace client in the Blackburn area.

Salary & Package

£60,000.00 - £70,000.00 DOE.

Company Benefits.

Day Shift

Monday – Thursday 07:15 – 17:00.

Requirements

Lead a large team of Operators and Team Leaders across multiple sites in an Aerospace environment.  

Previous experience of managing team performance.

Mentor, develop and grow the internal team.

Process documentation and administration.

Organise stock, materials and schedules.

Use lean management tools, such as 5s and Sigma Six.

Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety.

Be hands on, support with operations and be flexible with working hours in busy periods.

A strong understanding of IT and computer systems.

Exceptional organisation and communication skills.

You will be required to lead a team, support development within the team and build rapports with new & existing team members to push the business forward. You’ll need to be flexible working hours wise, as you’ll be managing across multiple sites. You’ll need to have experience with lean management, as you’ll need to implement this into the business.

The right candidate will be process driven, hands-on, be a great people person and have the experience required to support growth in a forward-thinking company.
