EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Walsall, that is currently in the market for an NDT Technician to join their company permanently.

Responsibilities

Due to an internal promotion and on the back of continued success, our client is seeking an experienced NDT Technician.

*

Performing various methods of NDT Inspection - DPI, MPI, Visual and Radiography

*

Report findings on NDT Control Cards

*

Holds authority to stop production, if necessary, where a fault, defect or problem is identified

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

*

PCN Level 2 / ANST or similar qualification within DPI, MPI, Visual and or Radiography

*

If you have Level 1 qualifications in 2 or more or above, this role will offer training and support for the right candidate

*

Background in welded component inspection, ideally from heavy engineering, power, nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical, or agricultural industries

*

Experience in maintaining inspection reports that are filed and up-to-date

*

Able to read and understand engineering drawings
