NDT Radiographer (Level 1) 

Location: Near Stadhampton, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £36,000 + excellent benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours (2025): Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:45 / Friday, 08:00–12:00
Hours (from 2026): 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 07:00–16:30 (with shift allowance)

We’re hiring for an NDT Radiographer to join a world-class manufacturer of precision safety equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with DR and CT systems, leak testing, and digital radiography – all in a structured and high-spec manufacturing environment.

Conduct radiography using DR and CT systems to detect anomalies in rocket and cartridge assemblies
Perform leak testing using a helium mass spectrometer
Interpret engineering drawings, ATPs and test documentation to ensure compliance
Maintain records and provide data analysis where required
Collaborate with production, QA/QC and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
Support explosive safety standards, audits and risk assessments
Drive 5S and continuous improvement culture within the NDT departmentNDT Radiographer Profile
ASNT Level 1 Radiographer certification is essential
Previous experience in NDT roles (aerospace, defence, automotive, etc.)
Confident using digital X-ray equipment and interpreting technical drawings
Comfortable performing self-inspection and data logging (SAP experience ideal)
Reliable, methodical and safety-conscious with a proactive mindset
