Job description

Want to join an aerospace MRO with a welcoming and friendly culture? They're more than just colleagues.

Would you like to carry out Non-destructive Testing in an environment that encourages fun and professional development?

Sound like a pipe dream? No, my client recognises that it had to develop such a culture so that employees commit to the long term.

They're a global player in the field of aircraft maintenance. They continually strive for improved maintenance solutions for the world's air fleet.

It's a job with variety, working on a wide portfolio of aircraft. That is, on live aircraft, and not the same panels in a factory.

The Netherlands offers expats a high quality of life, with a low crime rate and friendly locals. English is widely spoken.

Excellent transport, great work-life balance, an open attitude to culture and diversity, and an excellent education system all help to explain why many people make the decision to move there. Factor in how happy the general population are too (it's been ranked the 5th happiest country in the world) then you can see that it's a great place to live.

There is a tax discount for outside EU migrants for 5 years. It's called the 30% tax rule. What's that?

The 30% ruling means that 30% of the gross salary can be paid out tax-free as a non-taxable allowance. This is intended to cover the additional costs an international employee incurs when working and living in the Netherlands.

If you want to know more, feel free to contact me for an informal chat:

Paul Morgan.

  • EN4179 Level 2 certification in UT & ET (MT & PT are desirable).

  • Proven experience conducting non-destructive testing within an aerospace setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of NDT methods and techniques.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

    Job responsibilities

  • Perform a diverse range of non-destructive tests, including ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing.

  • Interpret and assess test results to identify defects, anomalies, or irregularities in materials and components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality and safety-related issues.
