Job Title: NavCom Field Service Engineer – Marine

Location: Redhill

Contract type: Permanent

Our client is a leading and growing provider of Satellite Communications and IT Support to the Government and Maritime markets. Headquartered in the UK, the company has a global footprint with key offices located across Germany, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Singapore, Japan and the United States.

This role would involve travelling to customer sites in the surrounding areas to assist in the installation and maintenance of our client's equipment. Occasional overseas travel may be necessary dependant on company needs.

Key Responsibilities - NavCom Field Service Engineer:

  • VDR-APTs
  • Radio Surveys
  • Installation, repair and maintaining GMDSS Equipment
  • Installation, repair and maintaining Navigational equipment
  • Installation, repair and maintaining VSAT Satellite Broadband
  • Working on Retrofit projects completing whole bridge installs and large system integrations

Qualifications & Requirements – NavCom Field Service Engineer:

  • Good standard at a higher level HNC/ONC/NVQ Level or equivalent national standard education
  • Preferably a skill base education/qualification with an I.T/ Engineering based
  • Current Driving Licence
