A packaging manufacturer just outside of the Bradford area are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and adaptable Engineer with a strong technical background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and provide planned, preventative maintenance expertise along with responses to reactive breakdowns

This is a fantastic opportunity with a historically family-run company where you will be valued and welcomed into the team
The maintenance department is currently operating on a Panama shift (Days only) on a 6am-6pm shift pattern
 
Role: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £51,000 - £52,000
Shift: Panama shift pattern (Days only, 6am-6pm)
 
The key responsibilities of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role will be:

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across plant and production equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with machine upgrades and installations.
Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and fast response to breakdowns.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company’s CMMS system.
Adhere to health & safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of operation.The key requirements of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will be:

Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, packaging manufacturing or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and fault-find using PLCs
Willingness to work shifts
