My Client a leader in their field are looking for an experienced and highly capable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their Sittingbourne site. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a respected name in aerospace manufacturing, supporting some of the industry’s most prestigious clients.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll be working in a dynamic environment producing product for the aerospace sector. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring their equipment and facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance of Buildings facilities and Equipment and ensuring compliance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures
  • Oversee routine site maintenance and asset management
  • Schedule and manage external inspections and subcontractors
  • Conduct weekly fire alarm and fire exit checks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem solving
  • Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental compliance
    As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will have:
  • Proven experience in a site maintenance engineering role
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Good electrical knowledge, 18th Edition certification desirable
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and work well as part of a team
  • PC literate
  • Welding skills and forklift licence are an advantage
    Working hours are Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm and Friday 7.30am-1.00pm.
