This site is an International Centre of Excellence in composite wing structure design and production, manufacturing composite wing spars and Fixed Trailing Edge assemblies for some of the world's most popular aircrafts.

An exciting and career defining opportunity has arisen for an MPS Controller to join the Supply Chain team at our Western Approach site. 
Responsible for the management of the weekly MPS, the postholder will balance demand and supply within available capacity and set Inventory targets. 


The successful applicant will work on a hybrid basis once up to speed on our SAP system and embedded in the team.

What You Will Do

Orchestrate Scheduling (MPS) activities beyond the current week time horizon and for the whole MPS horizon  Create and maintain production schedules to deliver in line with Programme requirements while maintaining Inventory targets and optimizing site capacity  Support Operations in the analysis of Master Schedule Adherence  Ensure system Master Data is up to date for all planning and scheduling purposes  Coordinate between Operations & Maintenance to minimize impact of planned downtime  Provide input for Material Requirement Planning / Vendor Scheduling process  Support operations in monitoring manufacturing output/performance against the schedule/plan, challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from standard  Provide communication/feedback to Programmes in case of any potential supply issues and also in order to improve Forecast accuracy

What You Will Bring

Essential:

 Experience of Operations Supply Planning / MPS / MRP  Knowledge of Forecasting & Demand Planning, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Management, Inventory Management, Internal Flow & Warehousing  Ability to liaise with stakeholders of various levels  Competent with MS Packages

Desirable:

 Level 3 or equivalent in a related supply chain/procurement discipline  Knowledge of SAP  Excellent verbal & written English
