Material Planner / Yeovil / £19.10 per hour

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Material Planning Specialist to maintain their world-class scheduling system and ensure our business objectives are met. You will work closely with major stakeholders both within and external to the business, utilising your expertise in MRP/Provisioning to challenge, validate, and apply judgment in the most cost-effective manner. Your role will involve manipulating SAP and/or Optimiza planning data to optimise our range of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance the scheduling system to meet business objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient planning and provisioning.
Utilize specialist knowledge in MRP/Provisioning to optimise planning data.
Provide flexibility in working hours to accommodate the time difference with our new plant in Canada.Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience using SAP within a Material Planning role.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a material supply or manufacturing environment.
Background in Aerospace or high integrity manufacturing environment.
Understanding of budgetary controls and reporting.
Proficiency in relevant company IT systems.
Educated to HNC level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent competency through experience.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across functional boundaries.
High level of customer focus and ability to anticipate customer needs.
Proven ability to prioritise and manage tasks under pressure to maintain required service levels.
Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering projects within deadlines.This is a Temporary contract until May 2025 with the potential to extend

Monday to Friday 37 hours a week
