MRO Engineer – Gas Turbines (Outside of IR35)
Certain Advantage is hiring for an MRO Engineer – Gas Turbines based in the Aberdeen area.
This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We’re working with an engineering company specialising in solving complex engineering challenges across industries—from aerospace and automotive to healthcare and semiconductors.

The Role:
This role is for an MRO Engineer-Gas Turbines—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Developing and implementing repair solutions for gas turbine components.
Analysing non-conformances and component repairs in support of engine overhauls.
Recommending inspection methods, modifying repair documentation, and updating engine repair manuals.The Individual We’re looking for people who can show:

Gas turbine operation in land and marine sectors.
Familiarity with engine development testing, certification, airworthiness, and safety regulations.
Exposure to technical databases, engineering documentation, and repair development tools.
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Heavy engineering industry, power transmission systems, Land and Marine based Gas turbines
Quality management systems and standards.
Root cause analysis and failure mode analysis techniques.The Benefits:
