Mechanical Inspector
Location: Denham, UB9
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (plus 22.5% shift allowance for rotating shifts)

Shift Patterns Available

Rotating Shift (includes 22.5% shift allowance):
Week 1:
Mon-Thurs: 06:00-14:00
Fri: 06:00-12:00

Week 2:
Mon-Thurs: 13:45-22:00
Fri: 11:45-16:15

Standard Day Shift:
Mon-Thurs: 08:00-17:00
Fri: 08:00-12:00

The Role

We are looking for skilled Mechanical Inspectors to support the inspection and quality assurance of critical components. You'll be responsible for verifying parts and assemblies, ensuring everything meets exacting standards for use in safety-critical aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspection and testing of components using a range of techniques and tools
Generate and maintain inspection documentation using SAP
Track components through the production lifecycle and update progress accurately
Maintain accurate location and condition records for all parts
Record and report non-conforming products to support continuous improvementWhat You'll Need

Previous inspection experience in manufacturing or engineering
Strong numeracy and geometry skills, including an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
Familiarity with standard inspection tools and equipment
Basic knowledge of Health & Safety protocols
Competence using Microsoft Office and SAPBenefits Include:
