Job Description

What will you be doing? 

As a Model Based Systems Engineer,you will joinaManchesterteam to support our activities within theAerospace & Defence sector. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Develop and implementmodel-based systems engineering (MBSE) solutionsusing tools likeSysML, Cameo, or Rhapsody.
  • Define systemarchitecture, requirements, and design modelsfor complex aerospace & defence systems.
  • Collaborate withmulti-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless system integration.
  • Supportsimulation, analysis, and verificationactivities to optimize system performance.

 

Who we are looking for?

 

  • Background inAerospace, Defence, or related industries.
  • Ability to work insecure and regulated environments.
  • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in a relevant field i.e.in Systems Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience inMBSE, SysML, and digital engineeringtools.
  • Strong understanding ofsystems engineering principles (V-model, DOORS, etc.).
