Materials Handler – Engineering Construction Project – Deeside

Position: Materials Handler (Contract)

Location: Deeside, UK

Duration: 5/6 Months 

Pay Rate: Competitive (DOE)

Start Date: February 2025 

About the Role:

We are seeking several experienced Materials Handler to join a major engineering construction project in Deeside on a 7-month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials on-site.

To be considered for this role, you MUST hold both a valid Slinger Signaller and Telehandler licence.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a telehandler to transport and distribute materials across the site.
Perform slinging and signalling duties to assist with lifting operations.
Load, unload, and store materials in designated areas.
Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and crane operators to ensure smooth material flow.
Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or safety concerns.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:

✅ Valid Slinger Signaller Certification (CPCS or NPORS)

✅ Valid Telehandler Licence (CPCS or NPORS)

✅ Proven experience working on engineering or construction projects

✅ Strong understanding of lifting operations and material handling best practices

✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

✅ Site Safety Certificate
