Hyde Group is currently recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Engineer based at one of our bespoke manufacturing facilities in Dukinfield. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for the planning of multi commodity Aerospace detail part and assembly work. You will need to work with our manufacturing business unit specialist teams.

Essential Skills



Previous experience in breaking down Aerospace engineering information (2D Drawings, Bill of Materials, CoS Documents, 3D FD&T).

*

Understanding and use of process specifications to ensure activities are planned in accordance with Hyde and Customer requirements.

*

The ability to work with internal and external customers in a professional manner

*

Ability to produce / answer Engineering Queries to a well written standard.

*

The ability to document and control engineering processes (SOP’s) and to coordinate activities and spread best practice as part of a multi-functional team.

*

The ability to carry out Root Cause analysis using a structure problem solving approach.

Desired skills

*

Ability to use Catia V5 and to be able to create condition of supply documentation that is satisfactory for shop floor use.

*

Experience in the deployment of APQP tools and techniques would be advantageous.

Desired Experience

*

Experience of Airbus, Boeing and BAE Systems work would a significant advantage.

*

Minimum HNC / Diploma.
