Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is supporting a leading aerospace engineering company that specialises in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components.
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team at Stansted. In this role, you’ll help plan and develop the repair and overhaul processes, support new product development, and improve workshop efficiency. If you're an experienced engineer with a passion for continuous improvement and hands-on problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do:


  • Develop and improve repair and overhaul processes for aerospace components

  • Support New Product Development (NPD) and reverse engineering projects

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, tooling designs and workshop procedures

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and lead root cause investigations

  • Work with the operations team to identify process improvements

  • Support lean initiatives (Kaizen, GEMBA, 5S) across engineering and production

  • Provide training and support on new processes and equipment

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards

What you’ll need:


  • Degree, HND or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or a related discipline

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and industry standards (AS9100, CAA/EASA, FAA Part 145/21G)

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or repair engineering environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organisational and project planning abilities

  • Self-motivated, team-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software

Package:

  • £50,000 - £55,000 Starting salary
  • Location: Stansted area
  • Full-time, on-site role
  • Competitive salary depending on experience
