Job role: Manufacturing Engineer 
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: £40,(Apply online only) - £50,(Apply online only) + Overtime @ enhanced rate
Hours: 07.00-17.15 Monday - Thursday (4 day week!)
Job Type: Full time, permanent

We are seeking a talented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading client with a brand new dynamic team in the precision engineering sector. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the aerospace, power generation, and motorsport industries. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge never seen before projects and contribute to the success of leading-edge technologies.

The package:

Salary between £40,(Apply online only)-£50,(Apply online only) dependent on experience
Complete training & development surrounding the Manufacturing process, work processes inclusive of internal and external training
Overtime available on Fridays and weekends at enhanced rate
29 days holiday including bank holidays
Overtime available at an enhanced rate

The Duties:

To programme & set an array of 3, 4, 5 axis Mazak Machinery for the Aerospace, Motorsport and Power generation
Work closely with the quality team to ensure all components are manufacture to spec and adjustments are made where needed.
Lead to improvement process and implement Lean Manufacturing / Sigma Six
Support machining Cells with problem resolutions, technical issues & recommending improved manufacturing techniques.
Identify routes to reduce waste increase efficiency allowing for continuous improvement.
The Requirements:

Previous experience as a Production / Manufacturing Engineer (preferably in the automotive, precision or aerospace industry)
Previous experience of CNC machine tool programming on 3,4,5 axis machinists.
Knowledge of casting & cutting tools would be advantageous
Ability to read and interpret 2D Drawings/Models
Experience in implementing lean manufacturing process with an understanding of machining cast iron and steel components.
Experience of Mazak controls would be advantageous
HNC or equivalent
