Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Salary: £45,000

Shift: 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company based in Leighton Buzzard.

Work within a team of co-workers who will focus on pro-active maintenance, you will be an integral part of a maintenance team providing 24hour, 7- day breakdown services when required.

Key Accountabilities:

Engineering Maintenance and fault finding on advanced industrial machinery; including, but not limited to, Injection Moulding machines and assembly lines
Onsite maintenance and engineering support for site assets to ensure OEE is maximised
Working on planned preventive maintenance (PPM) Schedules
Trouble shooting on PLC and Drive systems
Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner
Working on a shift pattern, as part of a maintenance team providing 24hour, 7-day breakdown services for a busy manufacturing site
Ability to use CMMS system for maintenance purposes
Liaise with operational management and workforce regarding engineering maintenance requirements
Able to work from planned work sheets and provide adequate information regarding faults / repairs
Full and effective feedback to maintenance management regarding work carried out, training needs and early warning of imminent maintenance problems  (i.e. provide info required to formulate preventative maintenance plans)
Implementing Engineering initiatives that will drive Quality improvements
Requirements

Engineering knowledge of Injection Moulding Machine and Assembly lines would be beneficial
Understanding of Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence tools and techniques
Promoting Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvements within Engineering across the site
Experience in an Industrial engineering environment 
Process knowledge/experience
Experience of Operational Engineering within a Manufacturing environment
Computer literate
