Level 2 NDT Technician

Rotating Day/Late/Night - Monday - Friday

Salary: £18.49p/hr (£35.5k)

We are looking for an experienced level 2 NDT technician who knows their way around visual, dimensional & fluorescent penetrant inspection techniques. With this being an inspection role you will need a keen eye for detail (read the advert)

You will be joining a very well established precision engineering company in their busy inspection department.

The main responsibilities for this role will have you carrying out visual, dimensional, airflow & fluorescent penetrant inspections on industrial & aerospace components, along with carrying you standard inspections using micrometers, verniers, CMM operating etc.

Rotating shift times

Days (Mon to Thurs 05:45 - 13:45, Friday 05:45-10:45)
Late (Mon to Thurs 13:45 - 21:45, Fridays 10:45 - 15:45)
Night (Mon to Thursday 21:45 - 05:45, Friday 15:45 - 20:45)What is needed from you?

You need to have a level 2 FPI qualification - this essential. Do not apply without this
Previous experience as an NDT inspector.
Experience operating CMM machines & inspection equipment.
Previous experience working to micron tolerances.What do you get out of this?

Basic of £15.28 + shift premium - £18.49p/hr (paid on all shifts)
Enhanced rate for overtime
