This role requires a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong grounding in Aerospace and manufacture, ideally within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.

Description

Work closely with our Forging & Castings team to improve process flow and NPI
Develop and improve manufacturing processes within the Forging/Casting department.
Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Coordinate with the Engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
Work closely with the design team to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles across the organisation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials.
Train and mentor junior members of the team.

Profile

A successful Manufafacturing should have:

A Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
A sound understanding of Forging and Casting processes.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
A track record of implementing successful process improvements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.Job Offer
