Labourer - BAE, Portsmouth

Solar PV Installations - Commercial project

£13.50 - £16.30ph dependent on pay method and experience.

This is a temporary role with a duration of 6 weeks and the possibility of an offer for a permanent position.

A great opportunity to start a temporary site labourer role in Portsmouth dockyard. You will be working for a leading solar PV installation & renewable energy contractor who's focus is servicing commercial properties. This will be a particularly interesting project as you will be working within British Aerospace facilities. We are seeking candidates that are already clear to work in the Portsmouth dockyard.

The company are seeking permanent staff so this opportunity could lead to an offer for a permanent position.  

Day to day:

Moving materials. 
Tidying, litter picking and sweeping.
Assisting trades.
Solar PV installations.
Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment. 
Taking instructions from management.
Reporting and or rectifying hazards.
An opportunity to learn and take on more complex tasks.
Panels are general installing on rooftops so heights must not be a problem.
Requirements:

Must have a CSCS card.
Must have Portsmouth dockyard clearance HMNB or BAE site.
Must be happy to sit a working at heights course.
Professional at all times.
Good work ethic.
PPE
Previous experience is not essential but will be beneficial.
Driving licence is not essential but will be beneficial.
Good timekeeping.
