Key Account Manager
£36,000 pa - £40,000 pa
 
Based in Northamptonshire, with a performance engine company, so a good understanding of engines, pistons and different types of components. 
The ability to support key accounts ranging from orders of an average of £10,000 - £100,000 up to millions. The ability to communicate effectively, providing quotations to raising orders, with an emphasis on pricing.
 
Job Description: 
Our client requires a Key Account Manager for a fixed term of 12 months or potentially permanent. The role will be responsible for all aspects of the Account Management.

The Role: 

Coordination of the generation of quotations with internal stakeholders.
Communication of quotations to customers.
Commercial management of existing programmes, including tracking progress on open orders and invoicing.
Responding to customer enquiries with the assistance of internal technical specialists.
Commercial negotiation with customers to ensure that capabilities are employed in the best manner to suit the customer’s requirements.
Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice. Candidate Profile: 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An ability to drive progress from internal and external stakeholders.
Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Experience of using SAP or a similar business system.
Commercial awareness of engineering services and products in the automotive or aerospace industries.
Strong work ethic with proven ability to deliver results. Department - Sales
