Junior Quality EngineerOrion are looking for a methodical and detail-oriented person with a keen eye for detail to join our clients Quality function!As the Junior Quality Engineer you will join an innovative technology company specialising in advanced metal components, supplying a variety of sectors including electronics, aerospace, and industrial.You will play a crucial role in supporting operations of nonconformances and implementation of corrective actions.Workingclosely with engineers and technicians, ensuring that all work is carried out according to processes and specifications while supporting the Quality function to ensure adherence to AS9100 and ISO9001 standards throughout our manufacturing processes.Guaranteeingthe delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations while driving operational efficiency and promoting a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.Responsibilities for the Junior Quality EngineerOwnership of nonconformance process, supporting process owners to identify and implement corrective actionsSupport the wider quality function to develop, implement, and maintain the company's AS9100 and ISO9001 compliant QMSCollaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and revise operational and quality proceduresImplement statistical process control techniques to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvementProvide training to employees on quality management principles and practicesEssential RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or similar scientific subject OR 5 years of experience in a production roleSolid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse measurement data effectivelyExperience working in a precision engineering environmentOrganised and able to work independently as the Junior Quality Engineer, but also to collaborate with a diverse, fast-moving teamProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn new skillsHigh level of attention to detailIf you're passionate about quality, excited by advanced manufacturing technologies we want to hear from you!
