Installation Technician
Certain Advantage is hiring for Installation Technicians based in the St Helens area, with extensive travel required. This role is site-based and offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The Company
We’re working with a global aerospace and automotive client who manufactures shielded chambers and bespoke products for various industrial applications.

The Role:
This role is ideal for someone hands-on, practical, and looking to build a career in installation and site leadership. You’ll be involved in a variety of mechanical assembly and finishing work, often on location for 1 to 4 weeks at a time.
 
You'll be part of a small, skilled installation team and responsible for:

Mechanical assembly using prefabricated sheet metal components
Installing wall linings, wooden floor structures, and decorative finishes
Working at height and using power tools
Reading and interpreting General Arrangement drawings
Problem-solving and contributing to onsite project delivery 
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress into a lead installation supervisor or site manager role.
 
The Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:

CSCS Card (preferred); refresher training and support can be provided
Full UK Driving Licence – mandatory
Experience working in construction or similar environments
Confidence working at heights and with tools
