This Inside Sales position based in Letchworth role is pivotal in generating new business opportunities and strengthening customer engagement through sales and marketing initiatives. The position is essential to the commercial team, closely aligning with the Technical Product Management and Project Delivery functions based in the Letchworth hub. It also actively supports field-based Business Development Managers (BDMs). The Internal Sales Associate will significantly impact the company's growth by identifying and engaging new contacts through various channels, including LinkedIn, outbound calls, and emails. This role supports the BDMs in their territory management plans and requires a proactive approach to building interest and connections with new contacts, promoting event attendance, and driving lead generation.

Overview of the role:

  • Conduct LinkedIn and other online platform-based research to expand the qualified contact base.

  • Support online sales transactions and customer support.

  • Update and promote test franchise promotions and call-to-actions.

  • Engage new contacts through outbound calls, emails, and other channels to identify opportunities and set appointments for the BDM team.

  • Research target customers for outbound activity.

  • Report monthly on Sales Navigator team usage.

  • Support the marketing team with organic social media content creation and posting.

  • Attend events to drive lead generation and manage event campaigns (pre-post show CRM updates).

  • Promote key test franchises and assist with demand creation across the Test & Measurement team.

  • Maintain and update the web shop, including product listings, stock levels, and pricing.

  • Update product listings with SEO guidance from the marketing team.

  • Layout test franchise news updates and technical features.

  • Proven experience in design management within the construction industry.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a professional approach.

  • Self-disciplined and target-oriented.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

  • Capable of working in a matrix environment.

  • Ability to develop technical knowledge of partners, customer applications, and products.
