Industrial Sewing Machinist / Textile Operative

Location: Near Uxbridge | £30–31K | Must have your own transport 

Not your average sewing job.

We’re not making curtains. We’re making critical kit for elite military aircraft. Think high-spec webbing, technical fabrics, and gear that helps keep aircrew alive.

If you’re an experienced sewing machinist with your own wheels and a love for precision – we want to hear from you.

What is in for the Industrial Sewing Machinist 

£30,000–£31,000 + optional overtime

Monday–Thursday: 8am–5pm

Friday: You’re out by 12 noon

25 days holiday + bank hols (buy more if you want)

9% non-contributory pension

What the Industrial Sewing Machinist will be doing.  

Stitching webbing and high-grade fabrics using industrial machines

Cutting, stamping, and marking parts with total accuracy

Spotting defects and keeping quality at mission-critical levels

Supporting custom builds and R&D projects (think prototypes and problem-solving)

What Experience do you require? 

Proven skills with industrial sewing machines (walking foot, overlock, lockstitch, zigzag or bartack)

Experience with webbing, straps, or technical materials is a huge plus

Can read patterns/drawings like a pro

Strong attention to detail + a solid team player mindset

Must have your own transport – we’re on a remote site near Uxbridge
