Job specification: - To undertake and performall aspects of the laboratory treatment cycles, including ICSI, eggand embryo freezing and embryo biopsy. - To review and auditclinical data and, if necessary, apply changed to establishedprotocols to enhance the performance of the treatment cycles. TheCentre aims to achieve no less than 40% birth rates for patientsunder 38 yrs. - To develop the managerial function enablingcommunication between embryology, ART team, QM department andsatellites. - To undertake the training and research function whichinvolves the supervision of trainees and publishing researchpapers. - To be fully aware of, and responsible towards, thelegislative framework governing ART, to ensure complete compliancewith the centre’s SOPs and correspondence with patients, the HFEA,CQC/HIW and the Clinic’s Medical Advisory Committee. - Tocoordinate the efforts of the other components of the ART team i.e.nursing, embryology, counselling and administration for the optimumperformance of the Centre. - To participate in key marketing andpublic relations campaigns to promote the Centre either inisolation or in conjunction with other satellite clinics.
