Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is supporting a well-established aerospace engineering company that specialises in the repair and overhaul of aircraft components.

We’re looking for a Hydraulic Test Engineer to join their team near Stansted. This is a hands-on role focused on testing, fault-finding, and maintaining hydraulic systems for both fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.

What you’ll do:



Carry out hydraulic testing on pumps, motors, valves, actuators, servos, and landing gear

Fault diagnose hydraulic and mechanical fluid power systems

*

Conduct daily and weekly checks on hydraulic test rigs

*

Monitor and maintain stock levels of hydraulic fluid and consumables

*

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the test bay area

*

Support safety improvements and follow safety procedures

*

Document internal and external training activities

*

Follow QA standards and regulatory requirements

What you’ll need:

*

Degree (or equivalent) with a strong focus on hydraulics

*

2–3 years’ experience, ideally in an engineering or hydraulic testing environment

*

Hands-on experience with hydraulic or mechanical systems

*

A methodical approach and strong problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work as part of a team in a regulated environment

Package:

*

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

*

Location: Stansted area

*

Full-time, on-site position

*
