1. JOB PURPOSE
A part time role that starts and begins at the same time as your children’s school day. As HR Director you will be responsible for delivering and implementing human resources strategies across all Aeroservices group of companies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and compliance.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Run full cycle annual HR processes including but not limited to performance management, annual talent reviews & compensation cycles.
· Oversee and manage the full recruitment process.
· Develop policies and initiatives that attract, motivate and retain talented and committed employees.
· Design and oversee appraisal processes and employee benefits, including pensions and recognition programs.
· Responsible for succession planning, as well as engagement and employee development.
· Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
· Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
· Perform staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, arbitrating disputes, dismissing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
· Provide advice and support to line managers with a range of complex HR queries and issues during the employee life cycle.
· Manage conflicts, grievances, and maintain the employee handbook.
· Conduct market research to benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards.
· Ensure full compliance with employment law and health & safety standards.
· Drive employee engagement, shape company culture, and support events
· Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans
· To chair departmental meetings, briefings & internal or external training sessions as required.

4. REPORTING LINES
· Direct report to the Chief Executive Officer.
5. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Evidence of developing and implementing highly effective people strategies.
· In-depth knowledge of managing people related change.
· Chartered membership of the Institute of Personnel and Development (Desirable but not essential).
· Knowledge and experience of leading a people function within a highly regulated environment.
· Strong expertise in employment law, compliance, employee relations, and recruitment.
