Do you want to be part of a team of specialists thatare designing solutions that make tomorrow possible, today?........Then look no further What the role has to offer:DevelopmentOpportunityJob Satisfaction - involvement in product solutions fromconcept to customer delivery and repair/servicingLarge supportnetwork within the functionDiverse and challenging roleOurOpportunityYou will be working within the large manufacturing teamwithin OME (Optronics and Missile Electronics) to deliverIndustrialisation activities and support through production andreporting into the Manufacturing Engineering Management team.Aspart of the role you will utilise and adopt techniques, includingbut not limited to the following, at different times depending onthe phase of the product lifecycle that you are workingon:Estimating to support bids, including direct and in-direct costsand schedule capabilitiesNew Product Introduction (incl. MRL, PRR,FAI, DFx, Tooling and Test Equipment) Supports Advanced ProductQuality Planning (APQP) activities such as DFMEA / PFMEA andControl Plans Reviewing the Engineering definition file andcreating and approving the manufacturing fileDefine the process ofassembly and testManaging Non-conformance and Engineering Change inproductionMonitoring product costsWorking alongside a Workcell/APRUManager to deliver to target KPIsIdentifying and implementingimprovements using various Lean techniquesAbout YouYou will need tobe self-driven and have attention to detail as well as having thefollowing:Experience of Manufacturing Engineering processes withina similar environmentExcellent team player and communicator.
